...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and will continue.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 22.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 14.0 feet Friday,
April 25.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

No fooling, a little frost possible

(WSIL) April will arrive with a chance of some patchy frost locally. The normal date of last frost comes in early April but our mild winter season has us itching for more warm weather. A warming trend is in the outlook.

Dry skies will be with us for the remainder of the work week. The weekend warm-up brings a chance for showers and maybe a little lightning to the forecast.

I will have the latest updates in the forecast on News 3 this evening.
