WSIL(Carterville, IL)-- This morning, most of us are waking up to a few light isolated showers that are tracking out of the region. Temperatures are also in the low to mid 50s this morning.Â
Today, you can expect to see rain showers decreasing through the morning hours, and they will not redevelop this afternoon. Despite remaining dry, we will still see mostly cloudy skies through the afternoon.Â
We will see a cold front pass through region this morning, which could cause wind gusts to be over 25 miles per hour. But, we will see wind gusts decrease this afternoon and evening.Â
Temperatures today will likely be at their warmest this morning, before cooling into the mid to upper 40s through the afternoon. If we see a few breaks in the cloud cover this afternoon, we may see temperatures warm back into the low 50s, but that is only if we see a few breaks in the clouds.Â
Overnight lows tomorrow morning will likely be in the low 30s, near freezing for some of us. We will see partly cloudy skies tomorrow morning, before mostly sunny skies return for the afternoon tomorrow. Highs tomorrow will be on the cooler side with highs in the low 50s.Â
Warm and dry conditions will return for the end of the week.Â
