* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

- At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 17.5 feet

- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

WSIL(Carterville, IL)-- This morning, we are seeing dry conditions. Temperatures this morning are in the mid to upper 30s and lower 40s.  

Today, you can expect to see partly cloudy skies through the morning hours, before we see a few more breaks of sunshine in the afternoon hours.  Highs today will be in the mid to upper 40s with variable winds at 5 to 7 miles per hour. 

Tomorrow, we will see temperatures warm into the into the mid 50s. We will see cloud cover increase, and we could see a few isolated showers late tomorrow afternoon and evening. These showers will mostly be around Southeastern Missouri. 

We are tracking even warmer weather for Friday and Saturday, with highs expected to be in the 60s. There is a chance for scattered showers on Sunday afternoon and evening.
