Dana is originally from New Zealand but has lived in the States for over 25 years. She, her husband & 3 children were privileged enough to become US Citizens over 18 years ago.
After moving to the States from New Zealand, Dana’s family settled in Stevens Point Wisconsin. This is where Dana started her broadcasting career which has spanned 20 years in Wisconsin, Mississippi & now here in Southern IL.
As the Station Coordinator for WSIL, Dana’s responsibilities play a crucial role in the day to day on-air commercial log. The bulk of this function involves working closely with the national sales manager and our local sales team to maximize inventory & revenue potential. Other responsibilities include managing day to day functions of commercial scheduling, national station orders/makegood input and reporting needs as well as maintain & upload accurate records of any Political Ad Campaigns for the purchase of broadcast time by or on behalf of legally qualified candidates.
Dana & her husband have lived in Marion for the past 10 years enjoying family, good friends, traveling, exploring the beautiful natural features the area offers but most of all the laid back lifestyle of Southern IL.
