HERRIN (WSIL) -- Herrin Library will reopen for indoor services starting next week.
The library has been operating services as curbside only since early November.
Doors will open Monday, January 25 at a 25% capacity. Masks are required for anyone over the age of two and patrons are asked to sanitize frequently.
Director Susan Mullen says folks are ready to get back between the shelves.
"For Browsing, that's the one thing that's really hard to replace is allowing patrons to come in and browse especially those people that just really like to get a book in their hand. They're just so excited to be able to come in the library," said Mullen.
All services including copying, scanning, and faxing, will continue to be offered curbside as well.
Patrons can call the library to set up an appointment.
