Brown Bag concert series commences in Carbondale

Free concert series begins every Wednesday in May

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL)—The Brown Bag Concert Series is offering residents an opportunity to enjoy their lunch with live music. 

Organizers say that through the end of May, people can enjoy a free concert at the Carbondale Town Square Pavilion. 

The concerts will be every Wednesday in May from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. 

To kick off the first Wednesday in May, musician Kendall Bell performed. 

Upcoming musicians for the Brown Bag Concert Series include: 

  • Candy Davis and Marty Merrill - May 14th

  • Wisenhart - May 21st

  • Bill Harper - May 28th

Organizers say an extra giveaway ticket is available if you eat downtown.
