ST. LOUIS (WSIL) -- After weeks of being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Saint Louis Zoo is making plans to reopen.
The zoo announced Wednesday it will reopen to the public Saturday, June 13. There will be new safety measures and protocols in place.
- Attendance at Saint Louis Zoo will be limited and free, timed reservations will be required. Guests can make those reservations at beginning 9 a.m. Monday, June 8.
- All guests over the age of 9 must wear face masks/coverings. Zoo officials say guests unable to wear a mask for medical reasons are exempt. Masks may also be lowered when social distancing more than six feet from others or when eating or drinking.

Saint Louis Zoo says more information on safety measures and its policies will be announced closer to the reopening.
