(WSIL) -- Harrisburg Unit #3 schools were placed on lockdown Monday, after a threat was reported.
The district was notified of a random Snapchat post indicating a threat to a school. There was no particular school, student, or staff member identified in the message.
All Unit #3 schools were put on lockdown and law enforcement was notified, and is currently assisting in the investigation.
The district said there is no credible threat to any Harrisburg school and there is no need to remove your child from school. All students are safe.
