PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

McLeansboro Man Charged with Reckless Homicide and Aggravated DUI After Deadly Crash

KEENES, Ill. -- One person is charged with reckless homicide and aggravated DUI after a deadly crash in Wayne County, Illinois, last week.

The Illinois State Police (ISP) Troop 9 officers responded to a deadly crash along County Road 70 North near County Road 425 East in Wayne County, Illinois, on May 24.

The crash reportedly involved a Polaris Razor which was going west on County Road 70 North, then ran off the road and rolled over.

The passenger of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, ISP stated in a release.

ISP said the driver of the Polaris Razor was Johnny E. Green, 35 of McLeansboro. Green was charged with Reckless Homicide and Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
