Graves County man arrested on child pornography charges

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) � The Graves County Sheriff's Office says they received a report of a suspected child molestation. 

In connection with the investigation, deputies received a search warrant for the home of 60-year-old Mark Cunningham.  

On Monday, April 7th, at around 3 p.m., deputies said they searched the home on the 1100 block of Ky. Highway 534 in Symsonia. 

During the search, the Graves County Sheriff's Office said they seized multiple devices from the home. 

Deputies say the devices had hundreds of photos and videos of minors, believed to be under the age of 12, involved in acts that were sexual. 

The Graves County Sheriff's Office says Cunningham was not home at the time. They contacted him and requested him to arrive at the residence. Deputies say he agreed to get home, but then never showed up. 

On Wednesday, the sheriff's office obtained an arrest warrant and with the help of surveillance, arrested Cunningham.

Cunningham was transported to an out-of-county detention center and was charged with felony distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12.
