CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Light showers are moving through the region this afternoon. The key word being light. The off and on rain will continue through the evening and overnight. No severe weather is expected, but a rumble of thunder can't be ruled out.
The clouds will keep us slightly warmer through the overnight hours. Lows will only dip into the low 60s by Thursday morning.Â
Isolated showers and storms will linger into early Thursday morning, but most of the day will be dry. Clouds should also begin to break up by the afternoon. High temperatures will stay a degree or two above average, in the low 80s.Â
Keep the umbrellas around. Off and on rain chances stick around into next week. However, there should be plenty of dry time mixed in.Â
