McCracken County officials urge several residents in Farley to evacuate

MCSO advises evacuations for some Farley homes

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) � Evacuations are being urged for some residents in Farley, due to flooding. 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says a cross-drain failure near Bagget Lane, near the Earthen Levee, has caused water levels to rise significantly. 

The sheriff's office, Disaster Emergency Services, and Kentucky State Police went door-to-door to notify residents living along KY 450/Oaks Rd. 

Officials say these are for house numbers ranging from 2730 to 1260. 

It is impacting over 50 homes.Â
