...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Daily heat index values up to 106.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged exposure to hot temperatures and high humidity
may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Time releases 2021 World’s Greatest Places list

(CNN) -- Time magazine is ready to help you choose to next vacation spot.

Time's 2021 World's Greatest Places list is the magazine's newest cover story. According to Time, its third annual list highlights one hundred extraordinary travel destinations around the world.

The list includes a Portuguese town that's home to the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge and Antarctica, which expected to experience a rare total solar eclipse in December.

Several American big cities also made the list including New York City, Los Angeles, Indianapolis and New Orleans.

The list will be published in the new double issue of Time, set to go on sale this Friday.
