KENNETT, Mo. (WSIL) � Fire officials are investigating a deadly fire in the early morning hours on Saturday morning.
The Kennett Fire Department said they responded to a medical call at 2:30 a.m. on February 22, in the 1000-block of David Street.
After firefighters got to the scene, they reported seeing flames coming from the rear part of the home.
One person was reported dead in the fire.
The Kennett Fire Department and the Missouri State Fire Marshal's office are investigating.
“Our thoughts are with the affected family during this tragic time,� the Kennett Fire Department stated.
