HARDIN CO. (WSIL) -- The is planning two prescribed burns for Saturday, February 29.
The first will be a 455-acre area north of Elizabethtown. It will include Lake Tecumseh and Whoopie Cat Lake.
The second is a 95-acre off Cadiz Road near Karber's Ridge Road.
The Forest Service says smoke may linger in the area through the afternoon and early evening.
