Carterville (WSIL) -- A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for parts of southeastern Illinois and western Kentucky until 6 PM tonight.
The largest threat with this system is strong winds, hail and a possible tornado can't be ruled out. Storm damage has been reported already in parts of Illinois and Missouri.
With lots going on this weekend across the region, make sure to stay weather aware and have a way to receive warnings and watches.Â
