Old School Barbell hosted a Push/Pull event throughout the day Saturday with proceeds and donations going to the rescue squad. Local businesses sponsored the event, with money portions of these donations going toward the rescue squad, as well. The event raised $2,205.70 in total.

"We are a 501c3 organization that relies on the contributions of our community, grants that we apply for and fundraising events we hold annually," wrote the rescue squad on Facebook. "For a local business to host this type of event for our organization is more appreciated than words can say!"

The event featured a dead-hang competition for children to participate in as well.
