...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Peak daily heat index values up to around 105 degrees.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged hot temperatures and high humidity may cause
heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

MARION (WSIL) -- A 90s country music star will be performing in Marion this fall.

Travis Tritt will be hitting the stage at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center August 19, 2022.Ìý

Doors for the concert open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets start at $60 and are available at .

The Civic Center will also be showcasing 90s country music in April and May.Ìý

April 21 Martina McBride will take the stage and on May 5 concert goers can enjoy Tracy Lawrence.Ìý
