STONEFORT (WSIL) — In the southwest corner of Saline County, there’s a restaurant with food inspired by all areas of the deep south.
Keith Tanner opened  in Stonefort in 2017 with the idea of creating a Texas Style Roadhouse but without the alcohol. “I wanted to build a family-friendly restaurant where people could unwind and enjoy themselves,” said Tanner.
The restaurant serves a variety of southern-style meals including fried catfish, fried alligator, crawfish etouffee, and smoked BBQ. Tanner says he focuses hard on making the atmosphere and food feel more like a backyard get together at a friend’s house.
