(WSIL) -- Fourteen counties in southern Illinois reported new cases of COVID-19 Monday.
Two of the counties - Jackson and Perry - also reported additional deaths related to COVID-19.
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has announced 1,319 new cases of COVID-19, including one additional confirmed death.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 195,399 cases, including 7,637 deaths, in Illinois.
ALEXANDER COUNTY
- One male in his 70s
There have been 37 cases of COVID-19 in Alexander County. Two of the cases are currently active.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Female: One in their 20s, one in their 50s and two in their 70s
- Male: One teenager, one in their 20s, two in their 30s, two in their 40s, one in their 50s, one in their 60s and one in their 70s
There were 13 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Franklin County Monday. To date, there have been 198 confirmed cases, including one death, in the county. Health officials say 92 of the positive cases have recovered.
HAMILTON COUNTY
- One female in her 40s
There have been 35 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death, in Hamilton County. Health officials say one person is currently hospitalized, while four others are isolating at home.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Female: Three in their 20s, one in her 50s and one in her 60s
- Male: Two in their 20s and two in their 40s
Jackson County Health Department reported nine new cases of COVID-19 Monday and one additional death. The health department says a woman in her 60s previously confirmed to have COVID-19 passed away.
To date, there have been 727 confirmed cases in the county, including 20 related deaths. Health officials say 101 active cases are currently being managed.
JEFFERSON COUNTY
Saturday, Aug. 8

- Female: One in her 30s, one in her 40s, one in her 50s and one in her 60s
- Male: One under 13, one in his 20s, one in his 50s and one in his 90s (from a 2nd long term care facility)

Monday, Aug. 10
- Female: One in her 20s and one in her 60s

Jefferson County Health Department reported 38 new cases of COVID-19 during a three-day period (Saturday-Monday). Two long term care facility in the county are now reporting positive cases.
Jefferson County has had 303 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 16 deaths. Health officials say 80 active cases are currently in isolation.
JOHNSON COUNTY
- Female: One under the age of 10, one in her 20s and one in her 70s
- Male: One in his 30s and one in his 60s
There have been 65 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Johnson County. Sixteen cases are currently active.
MASSAC COUNTY
- Female: One in 10s and one in her 60s
- Male: One in his 20s and one in his 30s
Massac County has had 40 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Health officials say seven cases are currently active.
PERRY COUNTY
- Female: Two under the age of 17, two in their teens, five in their 20s, one in her 40s, three in their 50s, one in her 60s, three in their 70s, 11 in their 80s and five in their 90s
- Male: Two under the age of 17, one in his 20s, and one in his 70s
Perry County Health Department reported 37 additional cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, with eight new cases on Saturday and 29 new cases on Sunday.
The health department also reported one additional death - a woman in her 90s.
Health officials say 20 additional residents and seven more employees of a .
To date, Perry County has had 186 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths. There are currently 86 active cases.
POPE COUNTY
- One female in her 30s
Pope County has had nine confirmed cases of COVID-19. Four of the cases are currently active.
PULASKI COUNTY
- Two females in their 60s
There have been 95 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death, in Pulaski County. Four of the cases are currently active.
SALINE COUNTY
- One female in her 40s
Egyptian Health Department says the individual is at home in isolation. To date, Saline County has had 132 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths.
UNION COUNTY
- Female: Two under 10, two n their 20s, two in their 50s and one in her 60s
- Male: One in 10s and one in his 70s
Union County has had 311 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 20 related deaths. Health officials say 93 of the positive cases are currently active.
WHITE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 40s
- Male: One in his 70s
Egyptian Health Department says there have been 74 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in White County.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Female: One teenager, one in their 20s, one in their 30s, one in their 50s and one in their 60s
- Male: One toddler, one in their 20s, one in their 30s, and one in their 60s
To date, there have been 425 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Williamson County, including five deaths. Of the positive cases, health officials say 246 have recovered.
