(WSIL) -- Fourteen southern Illinois reported new cases of COVID-19 Friday.
Jackson County had the most with 16 new cases, followed by Union County with 12.
Seven southern Illinois counties - Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Massac, Pulaski, Saline and Union - were place at the Illinois Department of Public Health's (IDPH) Friday.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 313,518 cases of COVID-19, including 8,945 deaths, in Illinois.
ALEXANDER COUNTY
- One female in her 50s
There have been 94 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death, in Alexander County. ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Seven Health Department says 33 cases are currently active.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Female: One teen
- Male: Two in their 40s and two in their 50s
Franklin County has had 635 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including six deaths. Bi-County Health Department says 417 of the positive cases have recovered.
GALLATIN COUNTY
- Male: One under the age of 12, one in his 20s and one in his 30s
Egyptian Health Department says all three individuals are at home in isolation. There have been 91 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths, in Gallatin County.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Female: Two under the age of 10, one pre-teen, one teen, one in her 20s, one in her 30s, four in their 50s and one in her 60s
- Male: One under the age of 10, one teen, two in their 30s and one in his 60s
Jackson County Health Department reported 16 new cases of COVID-19 Friday. The county has had 1,341 confirmed cases, including 24 related deaths.
According to the health department, 63 active cases are currently being managed.
JEFFERSON COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s, one in her 50s and one in her 70s
- Male: One under the age of 12 and one teen
In addition to five new cases of COVID-19, Jefferson County also announced two additional deaths.
Jefferson County Health Department says two men in their 70s, both residents of a long-term care facility, passed away.
To date, there have been 776 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 37 deaths. The health department says 116 active cases are currently in isolation.
JOHNSON COUNTY
- Female: One in 10s, two in their 20s, one in her 40s, one in her 50s and one in her 80s
- Male: One in his 20s and one in his 80s
Johnson County has had 279 confirmed cases of COVID-19. ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Seven Health Department says 106 cases are currently active.
MASSAC COUNTY
- One male in his 50s
There have been 129 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths, in Massac County. According to ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Seven Health Department, 50 cases are currently active.
POPE COUNTY
- One male in his 60s
Pope County has had 30 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death. Fourteen cases are currently active.
PULASKI COUNTY
- Female: One in 10s, one in her 30s and one in her 60s
There have been 198 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death, in Pulaski County. ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Seven Health Department says 36 cases are currently active.
RANDOLPH COUNTY
- 4 new cases for Friday, Oct. 9
Randolph County has had 1,035 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 14 deaths. Health officials say two people are currently hospitalized, while 53 others are recovering at home.
SALINE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s, one in her 30s, two in their 40s, one in her 60s, one in her 80s and two in their 90s
Egyptian Health Department says there have been 449 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including six deaths, in Saline County.
UNION COUNTY
- Female: One under the age of 5, one in her 20s, one in her 30s and two in their 50s
- Male: One in his 20s, one in his 30s, two in their 40s, one in his 50s, one in his 60s and one in his 70s
There have been 601 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 20 deaths, in Union County. ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Seven Health Department says 165 cases are currently active.
WHITE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s, one in her 30s, one in her 70s, one in her 80s and one in her 90s
- Male: One teen
According to Egyptian Health Department, White County has had 205 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Female: One teen, one in her 40s and one in her 50s
- Male: One in his 30s and one in his 40s
There have been 1,546 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 57 deaths, in Williamson County. Bi-County Health Department says 995 of the positive cases have recovered.
