47 new cases of the virus, two additional deaths

(WSIL) -- Health departments across southern Illinois are reporting 47 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Officials are also confirming the death of two additional residents.

Franklin County:

  • Females: one teenager, one in their 30’s, one in their 80’s
  • Males: one in their 20’s, one in their 40’s, one in their 50’s, two in their 60’s, one in their 70’s

To date, there have been a total of 4,187 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including 58 deaths. Of those cases, 2,704 have recovered in Franklin county.

Gallatin County:

  • Female: 1 in their 30’s, 1 in their 50’s

The Egyptian health department is confirming that another Gallatin County resident passed away. This puts the county at four lives lost.

Gallatin County has a total of 468 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19.

Jackson County:

  • 3 new cases
  • Genders/ages not listed

Health officials are monitoring 110 active cases. Jackson county has had 4,583 cases to date, with 68 related deaths. So far 4,405 individuals released from isolation, including 9 Saturday.

Randolph County:

  • 1 new case
  • Gender/age not listed.

This update is for February 12th but the information became available on February 13, 2021. Health officials are monitoring 34 active cases. Randolph County has had 3,948 confirmed positives including 81 individuals who have passed away. Of those cases, 3,833 have been released from isolation.

Saline County:

  • Female: 1 in their 60’s
  • Male: 1 in their teens, 2 in their 70’s

The Egyptian health department is confirming that another Saline County resident passed away. This puts the county at 44 lives lost.

Saline County has had a total of 2,400 lab confirmed positives.

White County:

  • Male: 2 in their 30’s, 1 in their 40’s, 1 in their 70’s

White County has had a total of 1,668 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths.

Williamson County:

  • Females: one in their 30’s and one in their 70’s.
  • Males: one under 10, one teenagers, one in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, one in their 50’s, one in their 60â€�

To date, there have been a total of 6,923 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county of COVID-19, including 112 deaths. Of those cases, 4,234 have recovered in Williamson county.

Illinois Department of Public Health:

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 2,092 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease Saturday, including 53 additional deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 1,160,523 cases, including 19,926 deaths across the state.

A total of 1,724,187 vaccines have been administered.
