(WSIL) -- Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department announced eight new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
Franklin County
- Female: Three teenagers and one in their 30s
- Male: One teenager
Williamson County
- Male: Two in their 20s
- Female: One in their 30s
The individuals are all being isolated.
To date, there have been 126 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including four deaths, in Williamson County and 27 confirmed cases in Franklin County.
Health officials say, of the positive cases, 80 have recovered in Williamson County and 13 have recovered in Franklin County.
On Thursday, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 869 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 36 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 144,882 cases, including 6,987 deaths, in 101 counties in Illinois.
