CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Sunday is the ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois Ducky Derby Dash, but it is a bit different this year.
This year's event will be held at Walker's Bluff Winery for family friendly fun.
The fundraiser is being held to benefit the Illinois Special Olympics.
In order to keep the event socially distant, the duck race will be virtual, but organizers are still excited for what the event has in store.
"So we really wanted to plan for any phase that the Governor has put in place and with the IDPH. So we wanted to be as compliant as possible while still being able to raise funds and have a good experience for folks," said Kimberly Talley, co-director of Region K Special Olympics.
If you would like to buy a duck for the race there is still time.
First place winner of the race wins $2,000 cash.
