SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WREX) � All 11 regions in the state are now back in Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois plan, meaning there are no additional coronavirus mitigations in place.

On Thursday, marking the first time all of the regions were in Phase 4 with no additional mitigations since the fall.
So what’s next?
The final step for a region is to move into Phase 5 of the Restore Illinois plan. Phase 5 is when Illinois is “fully restored.�
But how do we get there?
The state will move into Phase 5 when the COVID-19 vaccine is widely available throughout the state or there are no new cases over a sustained period of time.
Once in Phase 5, all sectors of the economy reopen with new health and hygiene practices permanently in place and large gatherings of all sizes can resume.
Also on Thursday, Illinois health officials announced 3,328 new confirmed and probable cases of the virus and 69 more deaths.
Currently, the Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 1,137,559 cases and 19,444 deaths since the pandemic started.
 A total of 1,156,453 vaccines have been administered in Illinois as of last midnight, including 178,848 for long-term care facilities. The 7-day rolling average of vaccines administered daily is 46,709 doses. Yesterday, a total of 62,318 doses were administered.
