HERRIN (WSIL) -- A Herrin teen spent her quarantine recreating a famous work of art on a dress.
17-year-old Gabby Johnson used her creative skills to paint Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night.
It took her over 60 hours to complete the masterpiece, which she got to wear to the recent S.I. Prom.
Johnson said art really inspires her, and she wanted to wear something creative to prom. She said creating the piece also helped relieve stress during the pandemic.
Johnson said she plans to keep the dress for now and possibly donate it in the future.
