(WSIL) -- Health departments in southern Illinois are reporting 58 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday spread across six counties in the region.
Franklin County:
- Females: One teenager, one in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, two in their 40’s, one in their 50’s, and three in their 60’s.
- Males: One teenager, one in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, two in their 50’s, and one in their 60’s.
To date, there have been a total of 1,144 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including 11 deaths in Franklin county related to COVID-19. Of these positive cases, 562 have recovered.
Gallatin County:
- Female: One in their 50’s.
- Male: One in their 30’s.
Gallatin County has a total of 140 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including two deaths.
Jackson County:
- Female: One teen, one in 20s, two in 40s, and one in 50s.
- Male: One in 40s and two in 50s.
Health officials are currently monitoring 175 active cases of the virus. To date, Jackson County has had 1,664 confirmed cases, including 26 related deaths. Of these positive cases, 1,463 individuals released from isolation, including 16 Sunday.
Saline County:
- Female: One in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, one in their 70’s, one in their 80’s, one in their 90’s
- Male: One in their 30’s, one in their 50’s, one in their 70’s
- Please note: a male, in his 80’s, reported 10/31/2020, has been transferred to their local health department.
To date, Saline County has had a total of 713 lab confirmed positives, including 13 deaths.
White County:
- Female: One in their 30’s, one in their 70’s.
- Male: One in their 20’s, one in their 70’s.
White County has had a total of 323 lab-confirmed positives, including six deaths.
Williamson County:
- Males: Two in their 20’s, two in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, two in their 50’s, one in their 60’s, one in their 70’s, and one in their 80’s.
- Females: Four in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, two in their 50’s, two in their 70’s, and two in their 90’s.
To date, there have been a total of 2,120 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county, including 62 deaths. Of these positive cases, 1,198 have recovered.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 6,980 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease Sunday, including 35 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 417,280 cases, including 9,792 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois.
The state is also reporting a seven-day positivity rate of 8%, which is looking at tests from Sunday, October 25th to Sunday, November 1st.
During that time, daily cases were at 4,000 or more each day.
To date, October 31st has had the largest, single-day increase with 7, 899 new cases.
