(WSIL) -- Health departments across southern Illinois reported 60 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday.
These cases span across Franklin, Jackson, Gallatin, Saline, Perry, White and Williamson counties.
Franklin County:
- Females: One in their 20’s
There have been 94 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19. Of these positive cases, 45 have recovered.
Jackson County:
� Female � three teens, six in their 20's, two in their 40's, and one in her 50's
� Male � two teens, fourteen in their 20's, one in his 30's, one in his 40's, and one in his 70's
There have been 491 confirmed cases in the county, including 19 related deaths. According to the health department, 354 individuals have been released from isolation and 118 active cases are active.
Gallatin County:
- Female, in her 80’s, at home and in isolation
According to the Egyptian Health Department, Gallatin County has a total of 35 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19.
Perry County:
- Females: One juvenile under the age of 17, three females in their 20's, one in her 30s, and one female in her 70s
- Males: One male juvenile under the age of 17, one adult male in his teens, and a male in his 20's
Perry County has had 92 confirmed cases of COVID-19 including one death. Of these positive cases, 63 have been released from isolation and 28 are active. Health officials also report 2,611 negative test results.
Saline County:
- Females: Two in their 20's at home and in isolation and one in her 80s hospitalized
- Male: One in his 70’s, at home and in isolation
To date, Saline County has had a total of 77 lab confirmed positives.
Williamson County:
- Females: Two teenagers, one in their 20’s and one in their 60’s
- Males: Two in their 20’s, two in their 30’s, two in their 40’s and one in their 60’s
To date, there have been a total of 256 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county including four deaths. Of these positive cases, 150 have recovered.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
State health officials announced 1,426 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease. These new cases bring the state total to 169,883 cases.
An additional 12 fatalities were also reported, putting the state death toll at 7,397 lives lost.
