PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- After a series of COVID-19 spikes, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has ordered all bars to close and a 25% capacity for restaurants.
Local restaurants like El Sazon say they are relieved with the order due to concerns of customers who aren't wearing masks and possibly spreading the virus.
They are currently offering drive-thru and curbside.
"Some places might get affected or some people like waitress and all, people in restaurants. But I think it's the best way that we can help each other with this pandemic going on," said employee Maria Duran.
The order will be in effect until August 11th.
