Marion Unit #2 says the Health Education Center at Marion High School is also now closed until further notice due to the positive COVID-19 case.

(WSIL) -- A Marion High School football program member has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Marion High School athletic department sent out the following tweet on Wednesday, July 29, just after 1:00 in the afternoon.
The announcement came just one hour after the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) released its plan for sports during the 2020-21 season.
Certain fall sports, including football, boy's soccer and girls volleyball, have now shifted to the spring.
Still, all football activities in Marion have been suspended until further notice.
