(MARION) -- Last weekend, News 3 interviewed Dav Glass, a man who made with a laser cutter out of his garage.
Tuesday, he donated some of them to Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Glass, along with his friend Andrew Wilson, donated over 100 of the face covers.
They've also been delivered to local nursing homes, fire departments and food service workers.
Heartland employees say these donations are life-saving tools.
"Our face is the first thing that we have on the front line, so being able to have this is definitely a protection for us," said Heartland surgical assistant, Keisha Juarez.
