PADUCAH (WSIL) -- Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital is updating it's visitor policy.
Effective Friday, March 5, visitation hours on non-COVID 19 units at Mercy Health � Lourdes Hospital are 6 a.m.-7 p.m.
Patients can only have one visitor at a time.
Visitors must:
- Wear mask at all times while inside the hospital walls
- Agree to symptom screening and agree not to visit if the screening finds symptoms of illness
- Perform hand hygiene frequently, especially before putting on and after taking off a mask
Visitors may purchase food. Food must be eaten in the patient’s room. The only time a mask is not required is when a visitor is eating or drinking.
Visitors wishing to see a patient who already has a visitor must wait in their vehicle. Waiting is not permitted in the plaza area.
COVID-19 and Behavioral Health units are not accepting visitors at this time.
Critical Care Units may have special restrictions in place. Please call before visiting
Mercy Health â€� Lourdes Hospital recommends that anyone at high risk for severe illness, such as older adults or those with serious underlying conditions, not visit at this time.Â
