More than 400 new local COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday

(WSIL) -- Health departments reported hundreds of new COVID-19 tests on Wednesday.

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today reported 6,762 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 135 additional deaths.

Cape Girardeau County Health Department: 71 new cases

Egyptian Health Department: 81 new cases

  • Saline County
    • Female: 3 in their 20’s, 2 in their 30’s, 2 in their 40’s, 5 in their 50’s, 4 in their 60’s, 2 in their 70’s, 4 in their 80’s
    • Male: 1 under the age of 10, 3 in their teens, 2 in their 20’s, 1 in their 30’s, 2 in their 40’s, 1 in their 50’s, 2 in their 60’s, 2 in their 70’s, 5 in their 80’s, 1 in their 90’s, 1 demographics unknown-case status in progress
  • Gallatin County

Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department: 108 new positives, 5 deaths

Hamilton County Health Department: 9 new cases

  • 1 Male in their 30’s

  • 2 Males in their 60’s
  • 1 Female in their 70’s
  • 1 Female in their 90’s

Jackson County Health Department: 33 new cases

  • Female â€� three under ten, one teen, five in their twenties, two in their thirties, one in her fifties, and one in her seventies;
  • Male â€� one under ten, two teens, five in their twenties, four in their thirties, six in their forties, one in his fifties, and one in his sixties

Jefferson County Health Department: 43 new positives

  • 323 positives currently in isolation

Perry County Health Department: 41 new cases

6 individuals, not in the break-down, are located in a correctional facility in Perry County.

    • 3 under 15, 4 in their 20s, 1 in her 30s, 3 in their 40s, 2 in their 50s, 4 in their 60s, 2 in their 70s, 1 in her 80s, 1 in her 90s
