(WSIL) -- New cases of COVID-19 and related deaths were reported in southern Illinois Monday.
Health departments in Jackson, Jefferson and Perry counties each announced one additional death.
Jackson and Williamson counties reported the most new cases of COVID-19 Monday, with 19 cases each.
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has announced 1,668 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, including seven additional confirmed deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 235,023 cases, including 8,026 deaths, in Illinois.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Female: Four in their 20s and one in her 60s
- Male: One in his 50s and four in their 60s
To date, there have been 344 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death in Franklin County. Of the positive cases, the health department reports 210 have recovered.
GALLATIN COUNTY
- One female in her 30s
Egyptian Health Department says the woman is at home in isolation. There have been 64 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths, in Gallatin County.
HAMILTON COUNTY
- One male in his teens
There have been 48 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hamilton county, including one death. Health officials say two people are currently isolating at home, while 45 others have recovered.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Female: One under ten, one teen, two in their 30s, three in their 40s, three in their 50s, and two in their 70s
- Male: One in his 20s, four in their 30s, one in his 40s, and one in his 50s
In addition to 19 new cases, Jackson County Health Department also announced one additional death Monday.
The health department says a man in his 40s, previously confirmed to have COVID-19, passed away.
To date, there have been 943 confirmed cases in the county, including 22 related deaths. Ninety-four active cases are currently being managed.
JEFFERSON COUNTY
Saturday, Aug. 29: 6 new cases
- Female: One in her 20s and two in their 50s
- Male: Two teens and one in his 60s
Sunday, Aug. 30: 8 new cases
- Female: One teen, one in her 30s and two in their 40s
- Male: One teen, one in his 40s, one in his 50s and one in his 80s
Monday, Aug. 31: 5 new cases
- Female: One in her 20s and one in her 50s
- Male: Two in their 40s and one in his 60s
In addition to the new cases reported Monday, Jefferson County Health Department also announced one additional death at a long-term care facility.
To date, there have been 481 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jefferson County, including 31 deaths. Health officials say 89 active cases are currently in isolation.
JOHNSON COUNTY
- Female: Two in their 20s, one in her 30s and two in their 40s
- Male: One in his 30s and two in their 50s
Johnson County has had 122 confirmed cases of COVID-19. ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Seven Health Department says 39 of the cases are currently active.
MASSAC COUNTY
- One female in her 70s
There have been 63 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Massac County, including one death. Sixteen cases are currently active.
PERRY COUNTY
Friday, Aug. 28: 1 new case
- One male in his 60s
Saturday, Aug. 29: 1 new case
- One male in his 20s
Sunday, Aug. 30: 0 new cases
Monday, Aug. 31: 6 new cases
- Female: Two in their 20s, one in her 30s and one in her 60s
- Male: One in his 40s and one in his 60s
In addition to the new cases reported Monday, Perry County Health Department also reported one additional death. Health officials say a man in his 90s passed away.
To date, there have been 298 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including nine deaths, in Perry County. Sixty-one of the cases are currently active.
POPE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 10s and one in her 50s
- Male: One in his 50s and two in their 60s
Pope County has had 18 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death. Currently, seven cases are active.
PULASKI COUNTY
- Female: One in her 10s
- Male: One in his 10s, one in his 20s and one in his 50s
There have been 124 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death, in Pulaski County. ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Seven Health Department says 20 cases are currently active.
SALINE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s, one in her 30s, one in her 40s and one in her 50s
Egyptian Health Department says all the women are at home in isolation. Saline County has had 169 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including three deaths.
UNION COUNTY
- Female: Two in their 40s and one in her 60s
- Male: One under 5, one under 10, two in their 50s and one in his 60s
Union County has had 415 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 20 deaths. Health officials say 61 cases are currently active.
WHITE COUNTY
- Female: Two in their 50s
- Male: One in his 20s and one in his 60s
According to Egyptian Health Department, White County has had 127 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Female: Three teens, three in their 20s, three in their 40s, one in their 50s and two in their 60s
- Male: One teen, two in their 20s, one in their 40s, two in their 60s and one in their 80s
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department reported 19 new cases of COVID-19 Monday. To date, there have been 939 confirmed cases, including 12 deaths, in the county.
Of the positive cases, health officials say 482 have recovered.
