(WSIL) -- Multiple health departments in southern Illinois are reporting additional cases of Coronavirus on Saturday.
Altogether 36 new cases are being confirmed across Franklin, Gallatin, Jackson, Perry, Saline, Williamson and White counties.
Franklin County:
- Females: One teenager
This marks the 69th laboratory confirmed positives in the county. Of those cases, 38 have recovered.
Gallatin County:
- Female, in her 50’s, at home and in isolation
Gallatin County has a total of 14 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19.
Jackson County:
- Females: one under 10, seven in their twenties, and one in her forties.
- Males: two under 10, one teen, two in their twenties, and one in his thirties
The health department reports a total of 397 confirmed cases to date in including 19 related deaths. Of those positive cases, 326 released from isolation. Currently, 52 cases are active.
Perry County:
- One female in her 40s, two females in their 20s
- One male in his 20s.
The health department says the county has seen a total of 69 cases including one death. Of those positive cases, 58 have been released from isolation and 10 are still active.
Saline County:
- Female, in her 30’s
- Two males in their teens, male in his 20’s and two males in their 30’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 41 lab confirmed positive.
Williamson County:
- Females: One in their 50’s
- Males: One teenager, five in their 20’s, and one in their 40’s
There have been a total of 196 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county including four deaths. Of these positive cases, 133 have recovered.
White County:
- Female, in her 50’s, at home and in isolation
White County has had a total of 28 lab-confirmed positives.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
Health officials announced 1,276 new confirmed cases of coronavirus including 18 additional confirmed deaths.
This brings the total for COVID-19 cases in the state to 160,610 and puts the death toll at 7,290 lives lost.
