(WSIL) -- Multiple health departments in southern Illinois are reporting additional cases of the Coronavirus Sunday.
Those include Franklin, Gallatin, Jackson, White and Williamson counties.
Franklin County:
- Female: One teenager
Franklin County health officials say there have been 32 cases in the county. Of those positive cases, 13 have recovered.
Gallatin County:
- Male: One in his 20s
Officials with the Egyptian Health Department say this is the third confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in Gallatin County.
Jackson County:
- Female: One in her 60s
To date, there have been 336 COVID-19 cases in Jackson County including 19 deaths. Of those positive cases, 298 have recovered and 19 cases remain active.
White County:
- Female: One in her 20s
- Male: One in his 20s
These individuals mark the seventh and eighth confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 for White County.
Williamson County:
Female: Two in their 20’s and one in her 70’s
Male: One in his 50’s
Williamson County health officials say there have been 131 cases for the county including four fatalities. Of those positive cases, 80 have recovered.
State update:
On July 5th, the Illinois Department of Public Health is confirming , bringing the state total to 147,251 cases.
IDPH is also confirming an additional six fatalities in the past 24 hours, putting the state death toll at 7,020Â lives lost.
