(WSIL) -- Health departments across southern Illinois are reporting 15 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
Franklin County:
- Females: One preteen and one in their 20's
- Males: 0
To date, there have been a total of 4,449 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including 63 deaths. Of those positive cases, 4,227 have recovered in Franklin county.
Jackson County:
- 5 new cases
- Genders/ages not provided
Health officials are currently monitoring 39 active cases. Jackson County has had 4,907 cases to date, with 72 related deaths. Of those cases, 4,796 individuals released from isolation, including 8 Sunday.
Saline County:
- Male: 1 in their teens, 1 in their 40’s, 1 in their 50’s, 1 in their 60’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,658 lab confirmed positives, including 53 deaths.
White County:
- Female: 1 in their 40’s
- Male: 1 in their 40’s
White County has had a total of 1,763 lab-confirmed positives, including 27 deaths.
Williamson County:
- Females: One in their 30's
- Males: One in their 40's
To date, there have been a total of 7,456 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county of COVID-19, including 120 deaths. Of those positive cases, 6,966 have recovered.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 2,666 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease Sunday, including 10 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 1,302,241 cases, including 21,663 deaths across the state.
A total of 8,054,634 vaccines have been administered.
