(WSIL) -- Health departments in southern Illinois are confirming 32 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday across Franklin, Jackson, Saline, White and Williamson counties.
Franklin County:
- Females: One in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, one in their 50’s, one in their 60’s, one in their 70’s and one in their 80’s.
- Males: Two in their 40’s, one in their 60’s, one in their 70’s and one in their 80’s.
To date there have been a total of 646 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including six deaths related to the virus. Of these positive cases, 417 have recovered in Franklin county.
Jackson County:
- Females: One in her 20's and one in her 50's.
- Males: One in his 50's.
Health officials are currently monitoring 62 active cases. To date, Jackson County has had 1,344 cases, including 24 related deaths. Of these positive cases 1,258 individuals have been related from isolation including four on Saturday.
Saline County:
- Females: Two in their 20's.
- Males: One in his 20's.
To date, Saline County has had a total of 452 lab confirmed positives, including six deaths.
White County:
- Females: One in her 30's and two in their 50's.
- Please note: a female, in her 20’s, reported 10/9/2020 has been transferred to their local health department
White County has had a total of 207 lab-confirmed positives and one death.
Williamson County:
- Females: Two in their 20’s, two in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, one in their 50’s and one in their 80’s.
- Males: One in their 20’s, one in their 40’s, and three in their 50’s.
To date, there have been a total of 1,556 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county, including 57 deaths. Of these positive cases, 995 have recovered in Williamson county.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 2,905 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois Saturday, including 31 additional confirmed deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 316,423 cases, including 8,975 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois.
