(WSIL) --The Wabash Area Development, Inc. (WADI)Â Head Start centers in Harrisburg and McLeansboro will close Monday, November 16th until further notice.
The non-profit group posted the announcement to Facebook Sunday. It comes as a precautionary measure due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, and is in hopes of limiting families and staff to exposure.
The Development provides well-being programs for soon-to-be parents, as well as, early learning for kids up to age five.
Staff will be available by phone, and other programs like its low-income energy assistance program are still up and running.
