(WSIL) -- The number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise in Williamson County.
Since Monday, the Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department has reported 87 new cases in the county.
That brings Williamson County's current total to 819 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The only county with more cases in southern Illinois is Jackson County, who as of Wednesday, had 879 confirmed cases.
On Wednesday, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) announced 2,157 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, including 37 additional confirmed deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 225,627 cases, including 7,954 deaths, in Illinois.
FRANKLIN COUNTY
- Female: One in their 20s, one in their 30s and one in their 50s
- Male: Two in their 50s, one in their 70s and one in their 80s
To date, there have been 304 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County, including one death. Of the positive cases, health officials say 190 have recovered.
GALLATIN COUNTY
- One male in his 50s
Egyptian Health Department says the man is at home in isolation. Gallatin County has had 63 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including two deaths.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Female: One teen, one in her 20s, two in their 50s and one in her 60s
- Male: One in his 20s and two in their 50s
In additional to eight new cases of COVID-19, Jackson County Health Department also reported one additional death.
Health officials say a man in his 70s died from COVID-19 complications.
To date, there have been 879 confirmed cases in the county, including 21 related deaths. Seventy-six active cases are currently being managed.
JEFFERSON COUNTY
- Female: One in her 60s
- Male: One teen and one in his 70s
There have been 435 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 30 deaths, in Jefferson County.
Health officials say 58 active cases are currently in isolation.
JOHNSON COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s and one in her 60s
- Male: One in his 70s
Johnson County has had 105 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Southern Seven Health Department says 26 of the cases are currently active.
MASSAC COUNTY
- One female in her 70s
Massac County has had 60 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death. According to Southern Seven Health Department, 16 of the cases are currently active.
PERRY COUNTY
- Female: One in her 20s
- Male: One under the age of 15, one in his 20s and one in his 40s
Perry County Health Department reported four new cases of COVID-19 and two additional deaths Wednesday.
Health officials say a man in his 80s and a woman in her 90s both passed away.
Perry County has had 284 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including eight deaths. There are currently 66 active cases.
POPE COUNTY
- Two females in their 60s
There have been 13 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Pope County, including one death. Two of the cases are currently active.
PULASKI COUNTY
- Male: One in 10s, four in their 20s, one in his 30s and two in their 40s
Pulaski County has had 115 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including one death. Southern Seven Health Department says 14 of the cases are currently active.
RANDOLPH COUNTY
- 8 new cases for Wednesday, August 26
Randolph County has had 692 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including eight deaths. Health officials say two people are currently in the hospital, while 144 others are recovering at home.
SALINE COUNTY
- Female: One in her 50s
- Male: One in his 30s and one in his 60s
Egyptian Health Department says Saline County has had 158 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including three deaths.
UNION COUNTY
- Female: One in her 30s and one in her 50s
- Male: One in his 20s, one in his 30s, one in his 40s, one in his 50s, three in their 60s and one in his 70s
Southern Seven Health Department reported ten new cases of COVID-19 in Union County Wednesday.
The county has had 397 confirmed cases, including 20 related deaths. The health department says 53 cases are currently active.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY
- Females: Two teenagers, five in their 20s, one in their 30s, five in their 40s, two in their 50s, two in their 70s, one in their 80s, and three in their 90s
- Males: One in their 20s, two in their 40s, three in their 50s, one in their 60s, one in their 70s and three in their 80s
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department announced 32 new cases of COVID-19 in Williamson County Wednesday.
To date, there have been 819 confirmed cases in the county, including 11 deaths. The health department says, of the positive cases, 446 have recovered.
