(WSIL) -- Every Thursday, we have a segment called Pets of the Week. It's when we share very lovable animals in our area, at shelters, looking for their forever home. Let's take a look at some of the pets were featuring this week.

We'll start with Josie, who is a female feline about one-year-old. She's very sweet and lovable. Josie's caretakers say she has had a rough start and would be the perfect kitty for a loving home. She's available at the Centralia Humane Society. You can call 618-532-0489 to learn more about this sweetheart.

Next is Prim, who loves to cuddle up in a sunny window seat. She's cream and gray, with adorable tabby-like striping. Prim has a good personality and would make a great family pet. You can call Finding Forever Animal Rescue at 618-922-5186 for more details on Prim.

Pepper was pictured with a costume on, which you can tell, he just loved. Apparently, Pepper also has a decent sense of humor. He's approximately 1 year old, with a white body and smears of black. You can find Pepper at the Perry County Humane Society. Serious inquiries can call 618-542-3647 to learn more about Pepper.

Finally, we've got Blair, who is a one-year-old female. Blair seems mischievous, which is exactly a cat's nature! She's good with children and with other cats. Blair is also a very pretty cat who is completely black with very big green eyes. You can find Blair at the Wayne County Humane Society at 618-847-4012.

We appreciate our partnership with local shelters to help find these amazing animals their forever homes. Thank you for checking out our pets of the week.
