DUTCHTOWN, Mo. (WSIL) -- Firefighters responded to a business fire in Cape Girardeau County early Saturday morning.
The Gordonville Fire Department stated a fire broke out at Carnell’s Garage and Wrecker Service in the 6900-block of Highway 74 at around 4:05 a.m. on December 28.
A total of 11 area departments helped assist with battling the fire.
Crews were on scene for more than four hours.
One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion and all crews are back in service at 8:15 a.m.
