73-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash at Unmarked Intersection

VANDUSER, Mo. -- A 73-year-old man was taken to the hospital after a crash in Stoddard County on Wednesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said the crash happened at an unmarked intersection at County Road 502 and County Road 593, roughly five miles south of Vanduser at 8:47 a.m. on May 1.

MSHP said a 73-year-old man from Sedgewickville, was driving a 2002 Dodge 1500 when it collided with a 2020 Ford F250, driven by a 67-year-old man from Oran.

The 73-year-old was taken by ambulance to the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau with serious injuries.

Both vehicles were considered totaled.
