
WSIL(Carterville, IL)--Today, we are tracking what will be another summer-like day.Â
Temperatures will start in the upper 50s and low 60s for most of us. There is the possibility of some dense fog this morning, but it should not be as widespread as it was yesterday morning.Â
Temperatures by the lunchtime hour will be in the upper 70s to near 80. Highs this afternoon will be very similar to yesterday with highs in the mid to upper 80s, to near 90 in parts of southeastern Missouri.Â
Like yesterday, we will have mostly sunny skies throughout the day.Â

It will be a little less humid this afternoon, with dew points in the upper 50s and low 60s. Though the humidity will be noticeable today, it will be less humid than yesterday.Â

As we start the next work week, we will see above average temperatures for Monday, with mostly sunny skies. Tuesday will be similar to Monday.

By Wednesday, a low pressure system will move into the region Late Wednesday and bring an increased chance of rain for late week. By next weekend, we could see temperatures as much as ten degrees below average.Â
