...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping below
flood stage at Plumfield this evening, and at Murphysboro Tuesday
morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this evening.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Breezy conditions are expected across the region this afternoon.
Wind gusts of 35-40 mph are possible at times. Be careful if

Boil water order issued for parts of Murphysboro

MURPHYSBORO (WSIL) � A boil water order was issued for a portion of South Williams Street in Murphysboro early Friday morning. 

A news release from the Murphysboro Police Department said the affected area stretches from 103 S. Williams St. to 67 S. Williams St.

A water main break is to blame. 

The boil water order is in effect until further notice.
