BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo. -- Deputies arrested a man for multiple failures to properly register as a sex offender.Â
Officials with the Bollinger County Sheriff's Office have spent the last week investigating Bradley Wyss for his violations of sex offender rules. Wyss received an order to register as an offender due to his previous behavior in Wisconsin.Â
Wyss spent nights in jail five times in the last ten years for the same crime. One of the previous five was in Bollinger County.Â
During this investigation, authorities said an officer found Wyss in a car not noted on his sex offender registration. The officer stopped Wyss and arrested him.Â
The officer took Wyss to the Bollinger County Jail and issued him a charge for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender (3rd Offense) with a $25,000 cash bond.Â
The office assures county residents it is diligent against sex offenders. According to a post from the office, Missouri law requires suspects with Wyss' charge face between ten and thirty years in jail.Â
