CARBONDALE, Ill (WSIL) � This Black History Month, families are invited to an exciting, hands-on evening of creativity and learning! Family Building Night offers an interactive way to explore the groundbreaking contributions of Black innovators through engaging activities designed for all ages.
This all happens on February 27th, from 5:30 to 7p.m. at the Carbondale Public Library. This unique event will let attendees rotate through interactive stations featuring LEGO builds, magnet tiles, and other creative construction materials, all while discovering the stories of trailblazing Black inventors, engineers, and architects.
This event is perfect for kids and adults alike. It encourages hands-on exploration, teamwork, and appreciation for the visionaries who have shaped the world around us.
