WSIL(Carterville)-- Its another calm and mild morning with temperatures in the upper 20s and low to mid 30s. Some of us across southern Illinois and southeastern Missouri are seeing a little patchy fog. This fog will not last long, and is not nearly as dense as we saw yesterday.Â
Today, we will see partly cloudy skies this morning, but cloud cover will be increasing. Overcast skies will not inhibit temperatures from warming, as we should see temperatures warm into upper 50s for afternoon highs; Some spots further to the south could see temperatures get into the low 60s. Â
Tomorrow, we will see a few sprinkles in the morning hours, before more scattered showers work their way into the region for the afternoon and evening hours. Showers will be light, and we should see rain totals under a tenth of an inch.Â
Temperatures tomorrow will be in the mid 40s for morning lows, and we will see temperatures once again return to the upper 50s and low 60s for highs. Winds tomorrow will be gusty with sustained winds of 15-20 miles per hour with gusts up to 30.Â
Warmer temperatures are expected for Friday and Saturday with isolated showers expected this weekend.Â
