Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and will continue.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 15.1 feet Thursday,
April 24.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Chicago man creates ‘Batmobile� from scratch

CHICAGO (CNN) � If you think superhero cars are just for superhero movies, think again!

A Chicago man has been building his very own version of a Batmobile from scratch.

Brian Hendler calls it the "Big Black Car." Hendler has been working on it for four years in his garage. 

It doesn’t just look cool, it runs great and can pivot in place for a quick exit. 

"We’ve got a 72 V-12 in the front. We have a Boeing 502 jet engine in the back," explained Hendler. 

Hendler doesn’t plan to drive the car much. Instead, he wants to take it to charity events to help bring in donations for good causes.Â
