Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 23.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday afternoon.

Construction begins on Marion's Tower Square Plaza

MARION (WSIL) -- Drivers need to plan for more time traveling through Marion's Tower Square Plaza due to construction.

Starting Tuesday, crews began renovation of the inner circle surrounding the clock tower. 

Drivers are being urged to pay attention to changing conditions, such as slow or stopped traffic. 

Construction is expected to be complete by the end of September.
